In recent two years, with the rapid development of social economy, we believe that people are more and more familiar with the organic fertilizer grinder, but we often encounter the problem of organic fertilizer composting. So how do we control these steps in this process? Now let’s see.
Water conditioning, water is necessary for microbial growth. During composting, 50-60% water (by weight) is conducive to microbial synthesis. The water content of livestock manure is 75-80%, and straw with low water content is usually used for conditioning.
The control of fermentation temperature is one of the important conditions for the normal fermentation of organic materials. In cold climate areas, heating and heat preservation measures should be taken to ensure the normal stop of fermentation process. At present, the economic and feasible method is to use solar energy to heat and heat materials. The greenhouse principle can be applied to the design of fermentation equipment. The fermentation equipment shall be made of PVC or glass fiber reinforced plastic roof materials and wall materials with good light transmission performance and durability. The fermentation equipment should be well sealed and well insulated in winter; At the same time, it shall be convenient for ventilation and provide oxygen for material fermentation.
Regulate carbon nitrogen ratio
Generally speaking, the C/N ratio of livestock manure is lower than 20:1, while that of straw is higher than 50:1. If the C/N ratio of the fermentation material is adjusted to 25-35:1, on the one hand, a part of straw can be added to livestock manure to adjust the C/N ratio, and on the other hand, the moisture content of straw is low.
Pile up
Aeration is an important factor affecting composting temperature and fermentation effect. The purpose of turning the pile is to improve the ventilation condition in the pile, distribute water, promote the propagation of high-temperature beneficial microorganisms, make the pile temperature reach 60~70 ℃, accelerate the transformation of fermentation materials, so as to achieve the purpose of average mixing, heating and decomposition. The materials can be turned over manually, or by wheeled dumpers, loaders, deep groove aerobic dumpers and other machines. In the process of fermentation, it is suitable to turn it for 1-2 times a day.
screening
In order to improve the commercial value of organic fertilizer products and facilitate packaging and storage, the screening process is usually used to separate large materials. There are many kinds of screening equipment, such as cylinder screen, vibrating screen, etc. In order to reduce investment, manual screening can also be used. The materials above the screen can be landfilled or reused as fermentation auxiliary materials, and the materials below the screen can be used as organic fertilizer products.
