Raw materials for preparing granular potash fertilizer by drum granulator
Powdered potassium chloride (0-0-60) or powdered potassium sulfate (0-0-50); binder, including magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, magnesium oxide, bitter earth powder; filler, including clay, bentonite, gypsum, etc.
Production process of potassium fertilizer granules by drum granulator
1. Water and magnesium chloride (or magnesium sulfate) are added in the reactor according to the proportion, and the solution is formed by stirring and dissolving. Then, powdered magnesium oxide is added according to a certain proportion, and further stirred evenly to form the required magnesium oxychloride hydrate (or magnesium oxysulfide hydrate).
2. The powdered potassium chloride or potassium sulfate is added into the drum npk fertilizer granulator, and the granulation additive magnesium oxychloride hydrate (or magnesium oxysulfide hydrate) with the mass fraction of 0.5% – 10.0% on dry basis is sprayed in proportion. At the same time, the pellets are continuously pelletized by steam, and then dried, cooled and screened to obtain the finished granular potassium fertilizer.
Considering the local resources, market capacity and coverage radius, the construction scale of compound fertilizer production line is generally 40000 ~ 300000 tons per year. It is suitable for small new factories to produce 10000-40000 tons a year, medium-sized factories to produce 50000-80000 tons a year, and large factories to produce 90000-150000 tons a year.
The plan of compound fertilizer production line should follow the following principles: resource characteristics, soil conditions, main local species, plant structure, site conditions, etc.
