There are two main types of organic fertilizers processed by organic fertilizer production equipment: powdered fertilizers and granular fertilizers. Granular fertilizers are more commonly used in daily processing. The main purpose of using organic fertilizer production equipment to produce granular organic fertilizers is to facilitate bagging and transportation to prevent secondary fermentation of organic fertilizers. In addition, in terms of sales level, granular organic fertilizers are better sold.
Advantages of granular organic fertilizers:
1. It is more convenient to apply. Some organic fertilizers have a relatively light weight and are easily dispersed by the wind when applied in the field, making them easy to apply as granules.
2. Some inorganic components can be added to the fertilizer to improve fertilizer efficiency. If inorganic components are added to the powder, it is easy to absorb moisture and clump.
3. To obtain powdery materials, it is necessary to have low moisture and be crushed. The major limiting factor in organic fertilizer production is that the moisture cannot be removed and needs to be dried. Granulation can be done without drying, and high heat is generated during the granulation process, which only needs to be cooled, making it very convenient.
Advantages of powdered organic fertilizers:
Powdered organic fertilizer is an organic fertilizer that has not undergone granulation or drying. Accounting for over 80% of the domestic market share. Compared to granular ecological organic fertilizers, they have the advantages of low investment, low production cost, less nutrient loss during processing, low price, and less ecological pollution, and are generally accepted by planting parks and fruit and vegetable bases. The disadvantage is that the shape is not aesthetically pleasing and is not suitable for machine seeding and application.
The production of powdered organic fertilizers is relatively simple. The production equipment mainly consists of five major components: organic fertilizer stacker, forklift, quantitative feeder, organic fertilizer crusher, and screening machine (drum screen or vibrating screen).
Four sets of belt conveyors are required to connect the equipment to form a complete production line:
1. A belt conveyor is installed above the crusher to connect the screened large raw materials.
2. A belt above the screening machine is connected to the fermentation raw materials.
3. A belt below the screening machine is connected to the screened finished material, which is sent to the processing site for weighing and packaging.
4. The warehouse needs a conveyor for loading.
